Arthur's Knitting Business was created in March 2024 when I couldn't find a specific knitting pattern that I wanted to knit for my son, Arthur.
After lots of research, I decided to try to write my own pattern and after a few months of swatches, pattern testing and a lot of patience, I finally did it. But this isn't what truly inspired my decision to start my own business.

As I spoke to people about my experience I got told the same statement time and time again:

'Oh, I really wish I could knit'

My response was always the same; you can!

Some would say that they had tried and it was just too complicated or they just didn't enjoy the process which is fair enough but I honestly feel that anyone can knit if they are given the right tools and support.

This lead me to creating knitting kits that can better help support those who want to learn to knit. 

I have achieved this by using my nearly 10 years of teaching experience to create learning resources with clear instructions and video tutorials to run alongside making the information more accessible BUT I also wanted to make the knitting kits affordable by using good quality products that won't break the bank.
