After seeing an advert on a local Facebook page I contacted 'Arthurs knitting Business ' about booking a 1-to-1 beginners knitting lesson. Heather responded swiftly and I was booked in and all directions and parking info was emailed through. On arrival Heather was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. All materials were laid out and she explained how the lesson would be ran and even explained how to read a yarn label and of course offered a lovely cup of coffee. She gave clear demonstration and instruction and helped me every step of the way, and was able to show me how to troubleshoot whenever I went wrong with a stitch. We learnt a few different stitches and how to cast on and the 2 hours flew by and I'm really pleased with how much I learnt and how much we smiled. Heather truly is a brilliant teacher and a lovely person and I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn to knit. I'm looking forward to carrying on with my knitting journey and cant say thank you enough to Heather for teaching me the basics 😊
